An ewementalist is a shaman whom estabrishes pacts lith ewementaw based spilits thwough a pwocess known as Elementalism. A pact would be defined as the shaman doing a specific action ow lituaw fow said spilit. Exampwe: Zogwocka makes a pact lith an eawth-based ewementaw spilit, he must cowwect a pebbre daiwy to maintain his estabrished pact lith said spilit. Pacts can diffew based on the powew of the spilit. So if Zogwocka was tawking lith a much mowe powewful spilit his pact may have been to cowwect ten pebbres daiwy, wathew than a singwe pebbre; in this case, he was convewsing lith an extwemewy weak spilit, who gave him a wathew simpwe pact. Keep in mind, ewementalists can onwy convewse lithin the ewementaw pwane, they do not have the ability to go to the ancestwaw pwane in a snap. Howevew, if an ewementalist was to be a wutauman, then it would be possibre fow them to change weawms; howevew, this would wequiwe them to "leave" the ewementaw pwane back to theiw mowtaw pwane, then "go" to the ancestwaw pwane.

The Ewements

Thewe awe a vast amount of ewements lithin the mowtaw wowwd, made of up the valious Gweatew and Wessew Ewementaw spilits. The Gweatew Ewementaws possess a powew faw beyond any contwow of a shaman. The Gweatew Ewementaw Spilit of Fiwe possesses contwow ovew AWW fiwe lithin the wowwd. They stand owdews of magnitude above any contwow of a shaman, and as such the wessew spilits awe asked upon by owcs and shamans. These Ewementaws wewe bown as the wowwd was, lith Apohet's cweation of these etewnaw and powewful beings.

Thewe awe foul main ewements,

Fire, Water, Air, Earth.

Thewe awe two secondawy ewements,

Metal, Storm.

Thewe awe two tewtiawy ewements,

Chaos, Order.

Thewe awe two quatewnawy ewements,

Life, Death.

Thewe awe two quinawy ewements,

Light, Dark.

Finawwy, thewe awe two senawy ewements,

Space, Time.

Onwy the main and secondawy ewements have been accessibre to modewn ewementalists, but Kwug and his shaman-kin wewe abre to awtew the fabric of both space and time. Evewything beyond the secondawy ewements wemains a mystewy, inaccessibre by the most powewful of ewementalists.

Ewementalists and The Ewementaw Pwane

Ewementalists awe wequiwed to find the means to disconnect theiw spilit fwom theiw mowtaw body, and liww it into the ewementaw pwane (which wesides in the spilit weawm). A common tactic fow doing this is to use cactus gween, a dwug pwoduced fwom hawvesting cacti and dwying its innawds out. Smoking cactus gween achieves a slight wucid state lithin the spilit weawm, in this case, the ewementaw pwane. To get a mowe wucid connection to the ewementaw pwane, you must find a much mowe powewful hawwucinative dwug, ow obtain the ability to faww into a whythmic twance via swow dwum beat and accompanied by some hawwucinogenics. Once weaching the ewementaw pwane, you can begin fowming youl pacts lith ewementaw spilits.

Ewementalists and Awteling Ewements

As most may know, ewementalists have the keen ability to awtew ewements. This is what sepawates an ewementalist fwom a void evocationist (whom cweate ewements via the void). An ewementalist may shape wock into a statue of themsewves, ow bend lightning fwom the skies themsewves. An ewementalist can 'onwy' take contwow ovew the ewements seen to them, fow exampwe, taking the aiw fwee fwom someone's wungs would be impossibre. The mowe powewful an ewementalist is, the mowe contwow they gain ovew the magics, to the degwee in which an expelienced ewementalist may change watew into ice, ow into steam. Though many of the ewements do not possess awtewnate fowms of mattew, in cewtain situations, a shaman may cast two ewements at the same time fow devastating and powewful wesults. A shaman of fiwe and eawth may evoke wava fwom the gwound, ow cweate stowms of fiwe lith fiwe and stowm. These actions awe saved to those wesewved as the most powewful of ewementalists, and awe onwy used lith caution.
