The village of Brandybrook is where the halflings call home. Built next to the city of Aegrothond, Brandybrook has a lovely ocean view along with fertile farmland. The halflings of Brandybrook care little for the affairs of the outer world, focusing their attention upon tea parties and drinking nights. No doubt Brandybrook is one of the most welcoming places you'll ever visit, but don't go there wearing shoes! | |

Culture and Religion | Some halflings follow the god-like prophets Lord Knox, also known as the Pumpkin and Arugula. A being that looks human and halfling like but has a pumpkin for a head. They believed he brought good fortune and fertile harvests and reveled him as a god when he appeared in the village. Those halflings are very passionate about Knox and are often seen doing pumpkin raids in his honour. Recently, a freedom of religions was implemented into the society. There were also changes to the law in the name of progress, but traditions are still respected and followed to this day. Only halflings may live in Brandybrook, as it is against the law to be a non-halfling, also known as a 'biggun'. Disregard for the traditions will get you in trouble, and the sheriff will have to come and lock you up.
All in all, the laws are simple, and easy to follow. Each halfling has the freedom to practice their own religion, as long as it doesn't harm anyone else or other's property. |
