Diddyfunkle is a flowering herbaceous plant with large, star-shaped heads and a fringe of hair-like tendrils called diddyfunklites. Found in tropical areas, Diddyfunkle nectar is used in cooking or as a sedative.

Description
Diddyfunkle is a herbaceous plant that can grow up to 2 ft (0.6 m) in height. Its waxy leaves crowd around the stem and are ovoid with a pointed tip; they stand out against the flowers, which have petals ranging from pale green to white. The flowers also have an interior fringe of rich purple, hair-like tendrils called diddyfunklites, which embed themselves into skin upon contact. Orange, globe-like fruit hang beneath the flowers. When pressed, the fruit release a nectar-like juice.
Habitat and distribution
Diddyfunkle grows in areas with adequate rainfall, including tropical forests, jungles, and some plains.
Harvesting
When diddyfunklites embed themselves into skin, the affected area becomes red and itchy; the fruit is safe to pick. As a result, harvesters are recommended to wear gloves.
Cultivating
Diddyfunkle spreads once per three OOC days when planted in warm, moist conditions with some sun exposure.
Uses
Unprepared Diddyfunkle fruit produces strong hallucinogenic effects and can lead to poisoning. When prepared correctly, however, the nectar of the fruit can be used as a cooking ingredient.
Culinary
To avoid Diddyfunkle's poisonous effects, the nectar should be pressed from the fruit, then strained. Prepared correctly, it has a citrus flavor and provides a tart taste in cooking. When infused into a tea, it can also calm and clear the mind, relieving migraines and nightmares.
Medicinal
In concentrated doses, Diddyfunkle nectar can be used as a sedative.
