Benda Chivay

Benda Chivay (10th of the Amber Cold, 1452 – present) is the current head of House Chivay and Governor of Agathor in Aeldin. Curiously, he appears to take an interest in the affairs of the distant Holy Orenian Empire, personally tutoring John I through a portion of his childhood.

The governor's detractors accuse him of sorcery and witchcraft, as he is apparently ageless, having ruled the province of Agathor for over a century, witnessing the rise and fall of over eight different emperors. He is infamous for his persecution of magicians, dissidents and nonhumans.
