The Battle of Acre was the first large-scale pitched battle between the opposing alliances of the Almaris Coalition War. While skirmishes and smaller battles had taken place prior to Acre, it was the first major engagement of the war between two large armies. The Battle began when E.A.T.O forces primarily made up of Haeseni and Urguani forces marched towards the Orenian border to force the opposing U.S.S.A alliance into a pitched battle and to pre-emptively stop a rescue raiding party.
