Built upon the notion of providing a safe haven for those displaced by strife among humanity, Balian has since become a hub for blossoming cultural development. The culture of Balian is naturally diverse due to the kingdom's original purpose as a refuge for the displaced. Therefore, aside from those who consider themselves Heartlanders, Balian is also home to those of Raevir and Farfolk descent and heritage.
