Aleksandra Mariya Alimar (Common: Alexandra Maria) was a Princess of Rubern and a member of House Alimar through her father, Prince Vladrick Alimar. In her early years, she became a notable figure of the Rubern War as she left her homeland behind and spoke out against the Alliance of Independent States. Through her mother, she was a descendent of Jarrack I of Curonia and Katheryna of Alban. She became the youngest Grand Lady of Hanseti-Ruska on the 9th of Amber Cold, 1746 after having apprenticed under her cousin, Queen Maya Valeriya.

Biography

Early Life

Born in the Princedom of Rubern to Vladrick Alimar, Prince of Rubern, and his consort Princess Ester Devereux, Aleksandra was raised within the royal family's castle alongside her twin, Prince Kazimar Pierce. Many of her beginning years were spent wandering between the Princedom and the royal city of Reza within the lands of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. However, her family was split after war broke out with her father leading Rubern - who had joined the AIS - and the rest of her relatives living in Reza. She was thrust into the chaos and cruelties of war as she saw the horrors from both sides.

With her father's abdication from Rubern, she - with the rest of her family - moved to Reza while her eldest brother, Marius Stiboricz, ruled Rubern. Despite her living in Reza, she still kept neutral on the conflict as to allow her to see both sides of her split relatives. Oftentimes, she was too young to understand the dangers of war and all that it would bring. Nonetheless, she travelled on the roads when time allowed her to do so.

The young princess was quick to grow up and mature as she was raised in war. Her first encounter of the cruelty came during a visit of hers within Rubern's walls, as she was seated at a table outside of a tavern. She looked on as Ruberni soldiers dragged a bound man to his knees and executed him on the nearby steps, only being six at the time of her witnessing such events unfold. Horrified, Aleksandra returned to her quarters for the rest of the day and into the evening. At dawn, she hastily readied herself for a journey to Reza.

As she remained in Reza with the majority of her family, her promises of safety were also shattered. In the courtyard of the Ekaterinburg Palace, Aleksandra and her cousin, Maya Valeriya Alimar, were threatened until Maya promised she would give all her belongings and go with the group should Aleksandra be freed. As soon as she was released, she rushed to find any help, in which she sought out Godfric Alimar and others, who saved Maya before she was almost beheaded.

Adolescence

Aleksandra carried on with her travels as she was said to have convinced herself both sides were secure. She would watch on as many other commoners and soldiers of the Holy Orenian Empire were beheaded, her childish views fading away each time. She saw as prisoners of war were held within cages and ransomed off, or if they were not paid for in time- killed. Her relationship with her eldest brother, Prince Marius, grew distant.

Her family was torn apart further as her mother was installed as the Governess-General of Curon after the regent, Angelos de Alba, was thrown out after attempting to leave the empire. With her father absent from her life and her mother running the Kingdom of Curonia, she was raised by Maya and taught many lessons of Haeseni culture, history, and etiquette by her. The two struggled with the dramas and chaos of the Alimar family together, and kept close.

Aleksandra's loyalty to the Holy Orenian Empire over the AIS began to stir in the particular event that she was woken up in the middle of the night for. She traversed into the gardens of the Ruberni castle to see a flock of soldiers climbing the walls to the tower in which the Empress-Consort, Lorena Christina, was confined within. She followed the men and offered her assistance suddenly. Furthermore, she was tasked with opening any of the doors she was able to, and freed the Empress of Oren from her captivity and trial that was set to happen in the coming days. Her time within Reza increased.

A long and dark cloud of grief came upon the House of Alimar as a series of death occurred. Her aunt and uncle, Princess Sofiya Theodosiya and Prince Kazimar Lazar, were declared as deceased. Kazimar died from an attack in the midst of him reviewing the Muldav land and plans for the castle to be built there, while Sofiya was said to have been murdered four years prior on her way to Aeldin. Her only sister, Princess Anabel Alimar, was presumed dead as well, after she was said to have drowned herself within Lake Milena. With all of the death, only more was piled on as the Princess of Hanseti-Ruska, Alexandria Ceciliya, was stabbed to death at the age of nine by men of the AIS. Enraged and consumed with an unmeasurable grief, Aleksandra put her anger into writing. She spoke out publicly, as a Princess of Rubern, in a missive titled as 'To My Homeland'.

You, my people, are no people I shall ever be proud of. I will never be proud to know I was born alongside you, with you, as a princess of Rubern. The actions of cowards, willing to take pride in stabbing of young girls, will come back upon you all. Come the reaping day, we shall be among you.

With the missive spreading all across the war overnight, Aleksandra took up residence in the Ekaterinburg Palace. She started to use the New Marian language of the Haeseni people over her native dialect of Ruberni. She became an apprentice under the Grand Lady of the Royal Court, as her cousin was betrothed to the crown prince of Hanseti-Ruska, Andrew IV of Haense. Aleksa' ascended the position at the age of eleven when her cousin stepped down and was titled as the Queen-Consort of Hanseti-Ruska.

Grand Lady of Hanseti-Ruska

Aleksandra assisted the Queen Consort of Hanseti-Ruska, Maya of Muldav, throughout most of her endeavors in court. She was the main overseer of all beautifications within the palace. Notably, she created all of the blueprints and layouts for the new inside of the Ekaterinburg palace. She was the host of numerous events that occurred throughout the palace, and upheld Haeseni court etiquette to the highest extent.

During her time as Grand Lady, her direct family exiled her from the Ruberni lands and claimed her to be disowned from their side of the family. Her sister, who had allegedly died by suicide, came back to proclaim a new ruling house of Rubern known as Stibor. Soon following the announcement, Aleksandra fell into a terrible illness and was kept within the confines of Nenzing with her husband, Alaric Stafyr- the Count of Nenzing. She resigned as the position of Grand Lady and passed the position onto another Haeseni noble lady by the name of Lieselotte Barclay.

Countess-Consort of Nenzing

Aleksandra was betrothed to Alaric Leopold of Nenzing through an arrangement set up by her relative and the Grand Prince of Muldav, Otto Sigmar. The two were married when both were of majority. She donned a yellow-based gown, with a white vale covering her features as she walked down the aisle. With her mother dead and her father missing, she proceeded to the altar with her cousin, the Queen of Hanseti-Ruska, at her side.

Soon following her ceremony of holy matrimony, she became ill although she continued to plan out the redoing of the inside of Nenzing. She had become quite skilled at the task after having great experience with the Ekaterinburg palace.
