Reign
Frederick Louis de Joannes, regally known as Frederick II, Prince of Sedan, is the current Sovereign Prince of Sedan and the sixth since its formation.
Ascension to the Throne
Frederick Louis de Joannes is the secondborn son of Joseph I of Sedan and Augustina of Balian. He ascended to the throne after recieving the support and backing of Prince Peter Johann de Joannes. Johann claimed that the firstborn son had a disability and thus shouldn't inherit the throne. Thus, Johann drafted a proclamation and declared the secondborn son was to inherit the throne, after the child's Father, Joseph I departed the Principality to travel. With no opposition contesting the proclamation, the succession went through, and Frederick ascended to the throne unopposed. He would regally be known as Frederick II.
