Hakon was Born in Middle of Athera. Hakon under the teachings of his father, Eirik Ruric, he soon mastered Battle strategy, and politics. In his teen year he was taught blunt and advanced weaponry as well as how to wear heavy armor and even mastered advanced Cavalry techniques, like; horseback archery and jousting and many others, he used these skills to repel Dunamite invaders from his homeland, and to fight against  Urguanite forces during sieges and skirmishes, In his 20's  he formed the Ashguard It's purpose was originally made to combat Dunamite raiders during their infamous midnight raids on Nyrhold, he whipped the previous red brothers and members of the Seahelm Warband into shape after some training and time Hakon was soon able to form the.. The Ashguard.. The Ashguard was considered a group of tough warriors that had proved their worth on the battlefield under the command of Hakon constantly. All men of the Ashguard were put under intense training almost daily to keep their skills on point for upcoming battles. During the battle of Hoar hill, Hakon was struck, through his leg with a spear, despite all the greatest surgeon's in the land, the wound got worse and became infected, Hakon became so sick that he disappeared for nearly 7 years to fight off the wound. While he fought off the infection, he nearly died on multiple occasions, yet continued to fight the infection, despite being very weak, his father looked down on Hakon for his weakness and vulnerability. After a few years his father died from causes in Felsen, this sent Hakon into a deep sadness aswell as his younger brother Sven Ruric. After Hakon's sadness had subsided, he felt determined and wanted to get revenge on the people who did this to his father, his leg began to heal quickly, and finally when he fully recovered he took his rightful place as Patriarch of House Ruric.
