Vicente II Murietta was a former Colonel of Hyspia and a devoted soldier and historian of the Sovereign State of Hyspia. His Father, Alberto Murietta, had served as a soldier under Francisco I, Viceroy of Hyspia, and Vicente would follow a similar career path though with more of an inclination for scholarly works. Vicente is a somewhat controversial figure, as during the reign of Cesar II, Viceroy of Hyspia he would draw his blade and attempt to assassinate Aleksandr II of Haense for what Vicente saw as a betrayal of Hyspia, cursing both Haense and the Crown-Princess as conspirators. He would be slain by Jose Fuentes, his former Brother-In-Arms.

Biography
Early Life
Vicente Alonso Murietta II was born to Alberto and Carmella Murietta in the year 139 S.A, born in the poorer part of Ciudad de Plata. Vicente was named after Alberto's father, Vicente Murietta, who had served as a previous Marshal of Hyspia under the first Kingdom. With two generations of military history in the family, Vicente's father gave him a strict soldier-like upbringing which would go on to affect Vicente's personality and career path. Vicente's mother, Carmella, would pass away when Vicente was 10 years old which caused Vicente's father to be even harsher in his upbringing of Vicente. The tight financial situation did little to aid in Vicente's rough upbringing, and at the age of 12 Vicente took his first job as a chimney sweeper.
Despite his Father's rigorous day-to-day routine and working his own job, Vicente still found time to study subjects which he enjoyed most. Paramount among his interests was History, specifically the history of the Hyspian people and the iterations of the Hyspian state. Whenever he was not being trained or working, the boy would sneak to the library to read for hours at a time and would sometimes bring his childhood friend (and future wife) Mariposa along with him. Aside from the library, Vicente and Mariposa (or Mari as she'd be called by Vicente) would often sneak outside the city walls together, exploring various places they had never seen before sneaking back home before their parents could notice.
