The Vimmark-Sola duel was a armed fight between three Imperial nobles, the cousins Philip Augustus, Count of Laria and Philip, Duke of Istria against the Vimmark-scion Rendon Vimmark. The fight took place on the 10th of the Grand Harvest in 1539 near Luciensport, Balain. The fight was the climax of the Saltstone Affair, where both Philip Augustus and Philip de Sola attempted to apprehend Rendon for his part in subterfuge.
