Zombie

Zombies are mindless creatures roaming the lands of Anthos. They were seen numerous times within the lands of Aegis, often during attacks by the Undead. They continued to blight the lands of Asulon, appearing across the realm. The origin of Zombies are not entirely clear, but it is thought that the Undead and Necromancers can raise and even control Zombies. Similar to Skeletons, Zombies are thought to be the bodies of dead citizens of Anthos, reanimated for sinister purposes.

Zombies inability to use their mind causes them to roam around the lands of Anthos and they thus can be seen almost anywhere. The mixture of rotting flesh and old bones slow them in their pursuit to devour as many as they can. Also like Skeletons, Zombies are highly susceptible to sunlight. When their skin is exposed to the sun their immediately catch on fire and burn. Small piles of ash can often be found in the early morning, the result of a disintegrated body of a Zombie.

Zombie corpses can be found to contain many items. Some will carry things that they used in life, such as minas, gold nuggets and armour. It may also be possible to find bones within the corpse. Occasionally a Zombie may carry an item of rarity.
