The Rimetroll War, also known as the Rimeveld War or the Starvation War is an ongoing war between the people of Hanseti-Ruska and the various Rimetroll tribes that are spread throughout the Rimeveld region of Almaris. The War began when the Rimetroll's magic Totem Pole was destroyed, causing the Rimetroll's farms to become unusable. This caused the Rimetrolls to begin various incursions into both the kingdoms of Norland and Haense, though Norland sought a diplomatic route and as a result was not overly bothered by the War. Haense, on the other hand, refused to cooperate with the Rimetrolls and the War began.
