With a new, burgeoning tradition in liberty, egalitarianism, and international cooperation, Vanmark is a booming coastal settlement in the south of Arcas. Following the coastal road west from Sutica or the mountain road south from Urguan, the common traveller will find the great city, atop John’s Rock, outlined against the sea. Built in the traditional ‘ker style originating from its days as a dark elf refuge, Vanmark is a city with twisting streets and hanging foliage, far departed from the straight-and-narrow architecture of many other cities. The people of Vanmark are of many different races and of many different denominations, but they are united in their adherence to the tenets of the city and its electoral autocracy. The Principality of Vanmark is a land of military prowess and domestic freedom that does not forget its humble roots. | |
