The halflings have been playing shogs for many a generations, it is said that a small halfling once offered a game of shogs against the Orcish Rex, atop a oasis in the orcish desert the halfling and the Rex battled off eachother with the wooden shovel known as a shog and the Orcish Rex's curved sword. The halfling's shovel thronged against the orcish sword, and snapped the sword to pieces, dismounting the Orc off his log. While not every match of shogs is so dire, the halflings of the village take it extremely seriously. One can find many a halfling children battling eachother on the shog logs, training to become Proffesional Shoggers in the NSL (National Shog League). While such a league may or may not exist, the halflings participate in such a game during festivals.
