Shagarath, or Shagarath of Yar, is the name belonging to the old greenskin often seen among uruk kin. The old one known all to well for his mastery of the shamanic arts, and therefore accepted and respected for his position as an elder within the orcish society. Now the ex-dominus spends his days in silence, living a humble life. He devotes his days praising the spirits, and offering knowledge and guidance to those in need. He rarely ventures out, only for either private or political purposes. Often the elder travels accompanied by his servants: The Muyakelg.

History

Birth

Shagarath was given birth under the Constellation of Ixli, in yellow sands. These children are known under the Orcish Zodiak to be curious and in constant search of understanding of both environment and the non-physical. They will often take on apprenticeships in building and exploration in order to gain the vast knowledge they strive to gather. Those of the Yellow path are said to be less sane than their counterparts, often appearing out of place among their brothers.

His mother, a nameless orcish figure, died giving birth to him as she herself was overcome by weakness during delivery. The Fe-uruk, part Goblin, lacked the full physical strenght of a pure blooded uruk, further adding to her weakness.

Childhood

The social standing of Shagarath in his early years was low. Lower than the common orc due to his nickname as “motherslayer”. As he was birthed more curious than ferocious he soon fell behind his peers in physical ways, where he excelled in the psychological. He preferred study above training - much to the hatred of his father.

Middle Ages

Eventually all came to an end. For during a raid Shaga found himself incapable of defending his father - whom had fallen ill during winter. The smoke rose high above the orcish camp - many had died, but the raiders were defeated. Shagarath was punished for cowardice, and deemed an outcast of his clan.

Later Life

At last the orc found himself on his own in the realm of Vailor. A new beginning, an opportunity to cease. He became part of a new Clan: Yar - and soon became close to his new brotherin. Eventually he got aquaint with a user of the Shamanic arts. It was here where he first got in contact with the greatness of the spirits. Marvelled by his findings he desired more. More knowledge… and more influence to obtain such.

Near the end of the realm, he became the closest advisor and later Dominus under Kharak of Raguk. A most ambitious and young rex that recently obtained the shamanic art of witchdoctor. Aiding him, they both founded what was to be the end of Vailor: the great plague.

Axios came to exist, and all descendants came here after the devastation caused by the few shamans, blinded by ambition. Blinded by the tricks and false promises of a dark entity. It was here where Shagarath changed more into the shamanic fanatic he is this very day. Shaped to be the perfect shaman… but a damn horrible orc. For he adheres no authority above the spirits, not even that of a rex or lord. Even his honor is questionable in this regard. For who needs honor… when you have the spirits...

Personality

The orc is as old fashioned as he is old. His opinions often conflicting with those that carry a more... modern and revolutionary state of mind. When engaged in conversation the orc will have no means to harm anyone, unless provoked. Because of his close connection to the spirits, he values them the most above all. Often choosing them above friends or fellow orcs. Insulting this belief will end badly for those who are stupid enough to do so. As said, he is old fashioned. For he deems all that is not from his realm, that of the spirits, as unholy. Shagarath has an overall negative stance on these heretics and remains to be in conflict with them. When tried to reason with the elder will mutter and curse, perhaps a more childish ability to the old orc.

He is an overall kind orc. He acknowledges no authority over him but the spirits, and shall disrespect any that dares to speak otherwise.
