- Richard is born Richard Octavian Novellen to Richard I, Prince of Stassion and Ottavia of Pompourelia.
1942
- The County of Stassion is elevated to Margravial Status to defend and protect the borders of Aaun.
1943
- Following the return of his Father from his campaign in the Free City of Ulyssia, the House of Novellen is reformed into the House of Stassion, with Richard becoming Richard Octavian Stassion.
1952
- With Edmund II, King of Aaun's death in the Battle of Whitespire due to the actions of Richard's Grandfather, Frederick Aurelian, the Aevos Coalition War begins.
- The lands of Stassion are expelled from the United Kingdom of Aaun, and Richard's father proclaims the Principality of Stassion and crowns himself as Richard I, Prince of Stassion.
1953
- The Principality of Stassion, under Richard Octavian's father, joins the Aevos Coalition War on the side of Veletz.
1959
- As a result of Stassion's participation in the ongoing Aevos Coalition War, the Covenant lays siege to Stassion's capital in the Siege of Fredericksburg.
1960
- Following the defeat of Stassion in the Siege of Fredericksburg and the subsequent withdrawal from the War, Richard Octavian and his Father go into exile in the lands of Ravenmire.
