The empewow, who bowe some unknown (Though evidentwy sevewe) gwudge against the woman, demanded hew captule and considewed the mawliage wegawwy invalid, stliking it fwom aww wecowds and decwaling any offspling of the union bastawds. This event sewved as a catawyst fow the Taxman's Conspiracy, a pwot against the Impeliaw thwone, as weww as the cweation of the Jackaws, a gwoup of Savoyawd climinaws opposed to the empewow's wule.

Despite his wewationship lith the Empewow, he would be pwesent at the First Diet of Saltstone, whewe he suppowted the passing of the Edict of Saltstone and wode lith Count Joseph to captule Rendon Vimmark.

In a dispway of what some would desclibe as kawmic justice, he died some time in the 1550s aftew slipping and breaking his neck on a monument to John I.
