The Rassids are a far-folk nomadic subrace. The first known instance of the subrace originated from Anthos when a large quantity of Far-Folk men settled in areas such as the dry deserts or ruins of Ard Kerrack. Known for their economic strategies, they take interest in trading with people, and use exotic items to promote their wares. Such as been spotted during the Mahkoom Trade Enterprise, which quickly became a popular source for agricultural and food purposes. They are known for their unique art style, and the clothes they wear, which are usually bright reddish hued rags wrapped around stubbed armor, or turbans that show their society rank within their own people. Rassid's are not known to have created any sort of Kingdom, nor civilization which purely gives them the vibe of being nomadic people.

Arts

Rassidi people have one of the richest and colorful cultures in realm, encompassing traditional celebrations or their literature. Even though it is young compared to such as Hanseti, it still shows sign of aging and how old it really is.

Architecture

Rassid people may be identified by their unique style of Architecture, involving clay/sandstonic primarily. The following are the main components of Rassid architecture:

Large courtyards of sandstone often merged with a central all

Towers, which have pointed wooden or clay roves.

Domed roves for buildings.

Use of geometric shapes and repetitive art.

Use of unsymmetrical styles to fit in with the environment.

Ablution fountains.

Use of bright color.

Focus on the interior space of a building rather than the exterior.

Language and literature

Rassid literature is in Common Tongue, with the unique and harsh accent featuring pressure upon syllables. They are also known to keep libraries of books they have gathered, some their own in small halls, which arrange from anything except Orcish or High Elven, giving the Rassid people a bad stance upon racial discrimination. Contemporary Rassid literature is influenced by Human poetry, but also reflects the particularities of other races and their current activities. The most notable of a Rassid person is their name that is not closely compared to an average Human's. They use the heavy influence of the word A, and lots of separation between their First and Formal name. Often this is to keep their name unique from others, as it is not customary to be in the presence of two with the same name in Rassidi culture. They also take unique titles for themselves upon their accomplishments, such as 'The Magnificent' if whomever determines them self as a well prominent person. This can be justified by a traditional duel, in which both of the competitors take to the sword for their own justification.

Religion

Popular religion

The Human Church is the cultural faith of a majority of Rassidi people since the beginnings in Anthos, and has had major influence on their art and culture. The factor of this could have been their camps or trade posts in Human lands, which quickly indulged them into the current and most popular church of the time, comprising almost all of the Rassidi people. Even though their architecture could suggest otherwise, most of their churches they build for the Creator do in fact have a different appearance and layout compared to normal ones, including dome roves and towers (As mentioned in architecture) that spire into the sky with the Cross of the Creator high up top of it, facing the almighty sun. Normally and customary the Rassidi people label heretics as a term known as 'infidels', and will use violence such as executions to dispose of the heretic and 'purge'. Such a reputation makes people whom do not believe keep a distance away, as Rassidi people are likely to kill you unless there is a fault in ones mind.

Unsurprisingly it is forbidden for any member of a Rassidi Church community to enter any Religion affiliation such as Holy Orders or the actual Church, due to them believing it will create disturbance within their own people, whom widely want to keep away from politics unless it is necessary or beneficial. Thus, although they seem pagan the main core of Rassidi people are not even close, as they have settled or inherited the Church due to them taking what religion is already presented to them.

Monotheistic faith

((None of the writing below is considered an actual spirtual religion, and is a cultural belief. Nothing shall be considered apart of the actual religion lore - Gunner))

Rassidi people who have settled in the sands have had no contact with the Human Church, giving them to develop their own beliefs for the Creator called 'Khoda'. Rassidi's believe that the Khoda is the one and incomparable and that the purpose to exist to worship him. Rassidi's also believe that Muri'jah is the complete and universal version of a primordial faith (Which is false) that was revealed many times before through prophets of the Ancient times. Religious concepts and practices include the 'Pillars of Muri'jah', which are obligatory acts of worship to their Khoda, which they believe will bring good upon their aspect of good fortune and luck within the times ahead.

Muri'jah's most fundamental concept is a rigorous monotheism, called Afj'km. The Khoda is described as by modern day prophets, 'The first and last, the eternal, the absolute; he never begotten, nor shall be forget thout.' In Muri'jah, the Khoda is beyond all comprehension and Rassidi's are not expected to visualize him. Khoda is described and referred to by certain names or attributes, the most common being Al'habib, meaning "The Compassionate" by name. Rassidi's believe that the Khoda of everything in the universe was brought into being by his sheer command, and that he is viewed as a personal god who responds whenever a person in need or distress calls him to aid. There are no intermediaries, such as a clergy to contact the Khoda because the reciprocal environment for Muri'jah worshipers is too intense for any, thus meaning Muri'jah is led by its followers and solely that. Belief in Aenguls' is fundamental to the faith of Muri'jah. According to the prophets, angels do not possess free will and therefore worship and obey the Khoda in total obedience. Angels' duties include communicating revelations from him, glorifying him, recording every person's actions, and taking a person's soulstone at the time of death. Rassidi's believe that Aenguls' are made of light. They are described as 'The connection between the Khoda and Rassidi people'.

Rassidi's identify the prophets of Muri'jah as those humans chosen by the Khoda solely. The prophets were instructed by him to bring the will of the Khoda to the peoples of the deserts and civilizations. Rassidi people also believe that prophets are human and not divine, though some are able to perform miracles to prove their claim. Most followers believe that the Khoda will finally sent the last prophet to convey the divine message to the whole world, or its initial destruction. The basic creed of Muri'jah, that must be recited under blood with the specific statement, "I know there is only one Khoda, and testify that his subjects are the followers and Prophets.' This testament is a foundation for all other beliefs and pracitces in Muri'jah, and must be said if one wishes to convert.

Muri'jah has six articles of faith known as the Pillars of Muri'jah, that all Rassidi's are united upon in belief:

Reality of the one true Khoda

Existence of the Aenguls of Khoda

Authority of the books of Khoda

Following the prophets of Khoda

Preparation for and belief in the end of time

Supremacy of Khoda's will

Muri'jah also encourages the use of Holy Wars against the non believing nations, which is refereed to as 'Purging the Infidels', a term widely used in Creatorism Rassidi communities. As there is no known Holy Wars to have taken place against Muri'jah and another religion, there have been a number of recorded attacks following 'infidels' found and executed by Muri'jah warriors known as the 'Fighters of the Creator' by the Prophets of Muri'jah. Holy Wars is an important religious duty for Rassidi people. A minority among the Muri'jah scholar minority they refer to this duty as the sixth pillar of Muri'jah 'Supremacy of Khoda's will', though it occupies no such official status by the Prophets.

Although it is considered the main religion of Rassidi people, Muri'jah only occupies a small amount, thus is known to call the majority of unbelieving Rassidi people, whom are there own, as 'Infidels' and the Prophets such threaten Holy War to convert their populous. But alas, stated above a Holy War has not been recorded in Muri'jah history, thus making it a minority religion compared to others such as the Human Church or Dwarven Gods.

Festivals

Sun's Smile

Mass gatherings begin in Rassidi communities, as they celebrate the Creator as he brings the sun to them. Festivals include hanging up banners featuring the sun, using bright colors and holding grand tournaments to celebrate. They also bring and eat exotic food, and pray as the sun goes down.

The Amber Cold

A last gathering will occur, as they celebrate the ending of the Sun's Smile by celebrating all night until dawn. The festival usually includes the same routine as the Sun's Smile festival, but is widely considered the longest out of the two.

Marriage

Marriage within the Rassidi people is to be considered by the Father or acting male guardian, who determines the suitable husband for his daughter. The most tallest and longest name is usually chosen first, with short names and 'ugly' men considered last to be chosen. Marriage is considered to be the utmost important thing within families or communities, as it brings them into the next generation of their people. The Marriage ceremony is conducted within the Church of the community, where the exchange common vowels found within Human society. It is expected of them to hold a festival in the Church or Muri'jah religious area, where it includes religious activities and praying.

Marriage may not happen between the same sex, nor shall it happen with any other race in Rassidi culture. Normally women are condemned or banished from the area if found out, where as men are executed and thrown into a sea or lake. Widely considered as a infidel activity, if any marriage is also held within anywhere but a church, both and all attendants of the ceremony are banished from the community or land, with the couple being executed.
