The Principality of Stassion, simply called Stassion, is a Heartlander human nation situated in the middle of numerous other Heartlander nations. Stassion was once a vassal of the United Kingdom of Aaun, but was expelled from being a peer of the country after Frederick Aurelian, father of Richard I, Prince of Stassion, killed King Edmund II of Aaun and attempted to coup the nation. King John of Aaun proclaimed that Richard was innocent and would keep his lands, but he would no longer be a peer of Aaun. As a result, the independent Principality of Stassion was formed. Stassion is made up of the descendants of many former Orenian Royalists from the Kingdom of Oren, with the sitting dynasty having once sat on the Orenian throne not long ago.
