The event is shrouded in controversy and inconsistencies to claims and documents is evident on all sides, it is generally accepted however that Phaedrus attempted to eliminate mali'aheral that adhered to the silver law, to the extent where some considered it genocide.

Additional steps were made by other leaders in the coalition to bring the Dwarves of Urguan into the fight before the final battle commenced. The concluding battle ended in an utter decimation of the dark magic users and cult members.
