Born into the House de Savin cadet branch of Guillen during the 1761, following a millennia of History as the ruling faction of Santegian Kingdoms of old, young Pelagius was fond & well studied of his heritage - sculpting his now prevalent ambitious & determined lifestyle; Not only this however, for the boy was born into a grandiose family, using this influence the young Pelagius suited himself as an almost Prince within the tropical courts of Savinia, indulging in a bountiful & pompous lifestyle - a habit that would catch up with him at a later age. This all was put to a sudden halt with the Qalesheen vassalization of Savinia in the later half of the 1700's, driving Pelagius into the dry deserts of Korvassa. During this time in hiding, the now  Pelagius supposedly came across a vision of Saint Julia, appearing from bottom of a sand dune, the Saint commended Pelagius to take refuge in the Church of Canon, promising an eventful & prestigious future; & so he did.

Pelagius found himself in the stone hardened pathways of Helena during the 1780's, seeking a new lifestyle as a Monk for almost 6 years, studying the way of the cloth until the year 1796 - Pelagius was ordained as a Priest by Archbishop Metropolitan Manfried Cardinal St. Julia, now Jude II - becoming pastor within the Metropolitanate of Providentia. However, after a session of tea with Laurence August Pruvia, then Cardinal & Prince-Archbishop of Albarosa in 1798, of whom recently instilled a mission to the territory of Hyspia - the prudent Pelagius was appointed as the first Bishop of Hyspia due to his Santegian Heritage & cunning.

With the coronation of High Pontiff Owyn III - Pelagius was raised to the position of Cardinal & the title of Prince-Archbishop of Albarosa, administrating the Archdiocese of Albarosa, granting Pelagius a newfound mobility & influence that would only increase the Cleric's lust for power - inwhich caught the attention of Pelagius's sister, Duchess Annatrina de Savin, using him as a ploy to increase the rise of a new Savinian successor state. During this period, Cardinal Pelagius was known for his intense love for Hyspian Tequilla & festivities held in grandeur estates scattered around Albarosan territories, starting a friendship with his then Vicar during the Bishopric of Hyspia: Francisco Altamirano - who was too raised to the position of Cardinal of the Church of Canon during Owyn III's reign.

After Cardinal Manfried, now Jude II - was elected as Pontiff of the Church of Canon in 1807, Pelagius comfortably retained his titles within the Church, though in the Third Bull of Providentia the Santegian was raised to the position of Vice-Chancellor due to his political & administrational experience. In the year of 1809, Pelagius's friendship with the aforementioned Cardinal of Sutica, Francisco Altamirano - lead him to eventually (though scandalously) appoint Francisco to the honorary & ceremonial title of King of the White-Hyspians with the Diocesan Letter to the Hyspians - however, this too lead to the death of Francisco by the hands of Antonio de Rivera in response to the granting of title, leading Pelagius in a moment of mourning for his now murdered colleague.

As of the Present day, Cardinal Pelagius enjoys the administration of the Archdiocese of Albarosa, treating himself to wine & courtly endeavors within his many Diocesan Estates, alongside with spending most of his time writing documents & thesis's.
