Paragons for Dwarves

Depiction of a statue representing a dwarven paragon

Paragons are dwarves who, through their deeds in life, are said to have been specifically chosen by the Brathmordakin to ascend into a rank of semi-godhood, and feast forevermore in the High Halls of Khaz'A'Dentrumm. They serve as epitomes of what dwarves should strive to be in behavior, thought, and action. The rank of Paragon is granted to a deceased dwarf by the High Preceptor of Da Kirkja Dverga after a strenuous process involving unanimous agreement by dwarven clerics, scholars, the Under-King, and the general populace.

Each Paragon has a patron god from among the Brathmordakin who is said to have chosen the aforementioned dwarf during the Auction of the Dead and to have sanctioned that dwarf's elevation to the rank of Paragon.
