Prince Otto Tuvyic Barbanov was a great military officer and swordsman of the 18th century as marchwarden on the Koengswald. The prince was born to Robert I of Haense and Elizaveta of Vidaus just a year before their natural deaths, left orphaned as the youngest of 5 children. Raised primarily by uncaring servants of the court, he was proclaimed as missing at the age of 12 midway through the War of the Two Emperors, though it was later revealed that he'd been captured and then salvaged by the enemy Dragon Knights of Renatus, who then took him in as a ward to the Empress-consort, Adeline, of the Imperium-Renatum. He'd later join the efforts of the controversial Phoenix Band Mercenaries, though returning to Haense a few years afterwards to be beside his nephew, the newly crowned King of Haense, Andrik III, after an involvement of the Phoenix in Haense. Through Andrik, he met another nephew, Prince Vladrick of Rubern, who he later swore fealty to in admiration of the Princes' brute strength in combat.
