Ultimately though, she guided her people through these harsh days, uniting the two fractured sides together once again. What followed was a golden age for her and her peoples, an unparalleled period of prosperity and life for Mali.

Adulthood

After serving as High Princess for decades, she abdicated the throne to reconnect with her faith, which had suffered in her time as head of state. She would oversee her predecessor’s rise to the throne, Belestram of the House of Sylvaen, and retook her position as Archdruid of the Naelurir, establishing reforms to revitalize the order that had fallen low. During a pilgrimage into the wilds, Awaiti would establish the first of the Aspectist Creeds- The Emerald Way. A philosophy for approaching the beliefs and worship of the Aspects, one which placed the Aspects above the Mani, and valued willpower, fortitude, and a strong faith. This creed would mark a renaissance of Mali’ame philosophy, laying down the foundation for the Ichor Way, the Sage Way, and the path of Sanguine Fire, all creeds of their own. For this, she was named an Oracle of the Naelurir, the highest honor that could be bestowed upon a priest or priestess.

During the War against the September Prince, Awaiti was struck down, losing her right arm. She fell into a deep sleep that lasted years to come. When she awoke, her world was turned upside down. Her mind was fractured, and the father of her son had been killed. The nation she loved was falling to pieces. Confused and lost, she ran to the wilds, and was seldom seen for many years.

It would take decades of healing to return to her normal state, but she would nonetheless. The ‘ame found herself within the lands of Aegrothond. Seeing its beauty and grace inspired her to create a new home for her people, for the Mali’ame people- a people now scattered to the winds. On the white sandy shores of Elvenesse, tucked within the forests, she began building the Village of Siramenor, and served as its matriarch for many years until she stepped down, allowing others to take the reins.
