Ooze

Oozes thrive in the harsh polar climates of the world. They are often very territorial and live in isolation among the tundra and mountains of the world. Oozes are not a singular creature but an ecosystem of cells working in unison. They range in colors based on their environment ranging from shades of blue and violet to brown.

Appearance

Oozes are gelatinous in form, often rolling and sliding around. They are generally found high in the mountains often times are so slow they are trapped under ice and snow for centuries. They are sometimes mistaken for ice because of their color and their shape. They can grow up to be 5 meters wide at largest, and the only limit to further growth is the sustainability of food at such a massive size.

Powers

Oozes are able to regenerate themselves after being cut apart. This is due to them not being a whole body, but instead billions of cells working together in unison. They can take on the general shape of any creature or person, however lack the support to keep themselves upright, it is documented that some crafty ones have made mock bone structures out of sticks and animal carcasses to do so, they are tricky creatures and despite that they are made of slime they have fooled many people into thinking they are human, they have fooled Billy Bob 17 and a half times to date.

Oozes live in the cold, harsh environments. Their body naturally creates acid to aid them in the digestion of their food, they prey off of animals, digesting them whole. The acid they excrete is strong enough to digest metal and flesh. It is advised that any encountering one take caution when travelling alone. They lack a protective outer layer, leaving their soft, fleshy interior exposed. They may be defeated by being set alight, although a common match will not ignite them.

Behavior

Oozes prefer to spend their days in solitude they often keep to themselves, however it is not common for them to let someone disturb them and live to tell the tale. They make homes in the permafrost and caves in the mountains of their land, and they may migrate into cities when winter arrives. They are very territorial creatures however, they lack the intelligence to recognize faces and voices, therefore making it impossible to have as a companion. They are carnivores. They prefer the taste of flesh, and often times their burrows of sorts are filled with bones of various creatures. Once they start attacking, they will usually do so until the death and it is said that even large hunting parties have disappeared, only to be recovered as pained faces and bones buried beneath the ice, their flesh completely ripped from their bodies painfully.
