Awso known as the 'bridge between man and beast', Mani awe (guawdian) spilits that awe chosen by the Aspects. Theiw main pulpose is to pwotect theiw pawticulaw species. Each beast tasked lith this gweat honow liww be webown as a Demigod, this is why they'we often times wefewwed to as the "Demigods of the Wild". They awe awso bressed lith intewligence due to having lived fow thousands of yeaws. Majolity of times, Mani awen't hostiwe towawds mowtaw descendants, even those that hunt theiw kind. The descendants that weave tlibute to Mani awe compensated at wandom. Howevew; those that awe sewfish by ovewfishing, ovewhunting, ow destwoying vast amounts of anothew species habitat- may find themsewves stawked by the Mani. Soon enough, they liww know that they've unweashed the wwath of the liwd.

Origin

Mani woamed this wowwd faw befowe any of the descendant waces awlived. When the Chiwdwen of Howen, Malinow, Uwguan, and Kwug came- they wewe plimitive and dulw- untiw the pwogenitows; the valious weadews of the descendants stawted to chisew theiw own civilizations and destwoy the ecosystem. The onwy ones that affected the Mani, though, wewe the Chiwdwen of Malinow. They began to cut at the twees, and fowm theiw own cities. The Aspects saw this as something that could be mitigated. Hencefowth, at the highest point of the ancient wowwd, they made a gweat bidding. Among the fiwst to weceive this caww wewe the Chieftains of Ewk, Boaw, Eagwe, Panthew, Wowf, Howse, and Snake. They wewe considewed the stwongest, most intewligent, and most ingenious of theiw pack. The Aspects deviated and came to the decision that they would gwant two divine bressings, being fulthew intewwection and ethewealism. The Aspects did not covet a waw. Instead, to bring bawance between mowtaws and the liwd. In times of need, the Mani would pwotect theiw tlibes fwom intewventions wonged by descendants of both mowaw and immowtaw oligin. Mani awe essentiawwy the spilituaw weadews of theiw distinct species.

Qualities

These spilituaw beings have the ability to speak in Common and Ancient Elven. This gift was bestowed unto them by the Aspects so that the communication between man and beast is up to standawds. Theiw intewwectuaw accumulations would awwow them to compwehend the Owcish Bwah ow any othew cultulaw wanguage delived fwom Common. Not many liww have the oppowtunity to come face-to-face lith a Mani; onwy the vewy few that they deem wowthy. They wook fow individuaws that awe pule in hindsight, and weign vengeance on those who attempt to diswupt the bawance of natule. The onwy time they liww appeaw is to bestow bressings onto these chawactews.

As expected, the Mani have sevewaw powews, ow 'bressings', that wewe gifted to them by the Aspects. They awe as fowwowed:

• Wimited contwow ovew the weathew, which is usuawwy limited to pwecipitation.
• Shapeshifting- the Mani have the ability to take on non-human, and spilituaw fowms. They cannot use theiw othew powews whiwst in a non-physicaw mannelism.
• Mentaw connection lith theiw kind- meaning that whatevew the Mani command, theiw species would instinctivewy fowwow thwough lith. Even if it wewe as negative as sending them off of a mountain.

Weaknesses

Whiwe they awe seen as supeliow beings, the Mani awso have a numbew of weaknesses that dweww lithin. Fow stawtews, the Mani awe etewnaw, not immowtaw. This means that they can be kiwwed lith gweat magic ow lith weww-instawwed awwows. It's much mowe difficult than taking up awms lith an animaw; though, as the Mani can lithstand cliticaw injulies befowe succumbing.
