There are several languages that have been present at various times. Some are quite common and others extremely rare or extinct.

Common

The common tongue is spoken by most inhabitants of Anthos. It is believed that it or some close version was originally spoken by Krug, Malin, Urguan and Horen, only changing slightly over time.

The Blah

Spoken almost solely by Orcs, the Blah is one of the few languages other than Common widely spoken. Orcish tusks prevent them from speaking Common fluently, although years of practice or bodily modifications can help somewhat.

Ancient Elven

Ancient Elven was developed by the children of Malin after their establishment in Aegis. Although once widely used, it fell out of favour after warfare killed most who knew it. Efforts have been made to revive the language and examine old documents to better understand it.

Dwarvish

Dwarvish is a commonly spoken language in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Many speak it, and places are named using it.

Al'Tahrn-Durngo

Al'Tahrn-Durngo, or the Black Language, is a language that is known by all beings that are created by or use dark magic. It's origins are unknown, but it is said that the Greater Spirit, Ikuras, created it.
