The King of Adylith is the ruler of the Kingdom of Adylith. The current house that holds the title is House de Hartcold. The first King of Adylith and creator of the Kingdom of Adylith was Thomas de Hartcold, also known as Thomas I, of House de Hartcold.

When a King was unable to serve due to incapacity, youth or absence, he or the privy council would appoint a trusted regent to rule in his stead with a similar level of power and authority. If this regent was also a prince, he would be entitled with the position of Prince Regent.

The consort of the King of Adylith is known as the Queen-consort.

The title of the King of Adylith has only belonged to members of House de Hartcold.
