When Jory turned 18 his mother sent him to the city of Vjorhelm to find his father [[Javier Ruric]]. After a talk with one of Javier's men who would later to be known as, Angus the Fearless, he would come to realise that his father was the King of Norland and he was simply a bastard. He'd then decided to stay in Norland with his father and serve as one of his 5 Bastard Commanders.
