"“Urguan will never fall.””

Jorik Grandaxe, one of the most decorated Legionnaires of Urguan. His intelligence and his tactics saved the Kingdom many times. His accomplishment earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame.

Jorik was born in the city of Kal'Karik. There are not many written records of his youth. When the city went into flames, Jorik was saved by a legionnaire and thus his admiration for the Legion of Urguan. At the age of 35, he finally found his family. In early Anthos, Jorik joined the Legion as a smith under Farren Starbreaker. He fought for Urguan as a Grunt. He left and returned in Fringe. He became an Elder of the Clan Grandaxe. There, under the banners of Thorin Grandaxe, he joined the Legion once more. During the war against the Carrions, he was promoted to Commander. After Thorin departed, Jorik led many raids and battles.

During Athera, Jorik Grandaxe was banished by Grand King Zahrer Irongrinders beside many of his Clan members to Kal'Bogrin. He returned after the Kingdom disbanded. Upon his arrival, Jorik was given the position of Grand Marshal by the Grand King Balek Irongut. The war between the Kingdom of Oren and the Kingdom of Urguan was at its peak. At the siege of Hiebenhold, his skills and tactics defended the Keep against Oren. During the siege thought, he got wounded until the end of the war. When he recovered, he once more joined the Legion and prepared the Legion for future wars. Many were displeased by Jorik's drills and preparations but time proved him correct. War began between the Iron Uzg and the Kingdom of Urguan. Jorik once more led the Legions of Urguan against the Uzg. In the first battle, the Legion was routed by the ferocious Orcish hordes. Preparations for a siege against the Capitol began and soon, the wardrums of the Iron Uzg could be heard near the Grandaxe village of Kal'Eknar. Jorik's skills and tactics won the siege as the Orcish armies were defeated.

In Vailor, he promoted Midgor Ireheart and Belegar Ireheart as his Commanders. During the sea battle against the Kraken, Jorik Grandaxe was captured by sea dwarves. He was finally set free, a few years before the Great 18 years war between the Kingdom of Urguan and the Holy Orenian Empire. After the siege of Khro'Nogaak, where the Legion forces emerged victorious, Jorik Grandaxe was promoted to Grand Marshal. As the Holy Orenian Empire set its gaze upon Avar, the Dwarven fleet met to engage them but during the sea battle, Jorik Grandaxe got wounded. Once he recovered, he rejoined his kin in the siege of Kal'Ordholm. The siege was won and Jorik's leadership was not questioned again. As the Holy Orenian Empire moved and besieged the Dunamis Keep, Jorik led his troops in the aid of the Dunamians. After the war was ended, Jorik was forced to step down from being Grand Marshal by the Council of Urguan.

Jorik Grandaxe then appeared in Axios a few years before the march of the Orenian Empire against Urguan. He reformed the Legion and made it completely independent. Another war errupted between the Kingdom of Urguan and the Orenian Empire. Jorik's leadership once more turned Urguan victorious. After winning the battles, the Legion together with the Kingdom of Courland began the siege of Johannesburg. After the city was destroyed by their own King, Jorik Grandaxe was forced to step down by the Council.
