Biography
Early Life
Javier was born a bastard of Hakon Ruric to an unknown woman on the 10th of Deep Cold. Javier throughout most of his child hood spent his time preparing and training himself for when he was able to reach of age of 16, to where he would be old enough to command raids himself, for those years of waiting he joined his father Hakon Ruric on numerous raids upon the Holy Orenian Empire, with the attempt to weaken them and lower morale, After numerous raids Javier began to quickly rise in the ranks of the Ashguard, going from a Veteran to the Second in Command. Recently after achieving this position news came to Javier that his father, Hakon was outnumbered in a large skirmish against the empire, he quickly rallied the Rurikid vassal House Silversteed, led by Ethan Silversteed, and marched to his fathers aid. Once arriving Javier took command of the Silver Regiment, cutting through large amounts of Orenian Soldiers, finally reaching his father, and the weakened Ashguard, directly after this skirmish, Javier and Ethan were both taken to the Bonefort, the seat of House Ruric, Javier was then legitimized by his father at the age of eighteen, thus naming him rightful heir of House Ruric. Javier began to command large amounts of his own raids, having never lost a single one, a few months after the descendants departed from Vailor, the Dreadlands came under siege. Javier rallied as many bannermen as possible until realizing that it would not be enough to defend against the Orenian onslaught. He then ordered all Rurik men to disperse into a nearby forest, where they would live out until they could aquire a new home.

Reign
During Javier’s reign he was never able to organize a proper military. Despite disbanding the infamous Ashguard and replacing it with the Ruricguard enlistments were low, and men of Norland were having trouble recruiting. Javier Ruric was cushdy at getting the people to follow him, and found he didn’t need a standing military, the people were his military. The citizens of Norland the farmers, leatherworkers, and blacksmiths. Javier strutted about his city without guards. That's because the people were his guards, they protected him to the bitter end, regardless of whether or not they were viewed a warrior. Javier revived Norland, after his cousin, Artyom I ran it into the ground. Javier began by building a new capital, and gaining the respect of the new generation of Norlanders, since he had only recently came back to defend the Krag from the Dwarven attackers. Many of his people said that Javier was leading them through another golden age; a golden age that came to an end after he abdicated the throne of Norland to his son, Jevan Ruric.

The Serene Slaughter

During a peace meeting in Vjorhelm with the former Orenian vassals, House Serene. Javier Ruric's life was attempted on by the Serene House leaders and their guards, thus resulting the rurikid household guards to take up arms and slay all those bearing the Serene banners, those who were captured were either beheaded by Javier himself, hung from the Ashtree, or thrown off the side of the Norlandic capital. After this confrontation, House Serene began to fall apart, having it lost many of its notable leaders, The House was never the same after.

Dreadlands Conflict
Javier was raised in the Dreadlands, being taught the ways of combat by his father, Ser Hakon “The Shipwright” Ruric. While still in Vailor, Ser Hakon led countless attacks on Orenian lands, shattering their morale and forces. Javier learned from his father, beginning to go on raids on his own, with the best many he could scramble from within the Bonefort. Nearly all of his attacks on Oren being successful.

The Dwarven Assault
Conflict lasted 1607-1612

Dwarven aggression was ramped up against the Norlandic peoples under the Urguani Grand King Bastion Ireheart. While King Artyom was out with a coma, his distant cousin, Donovan Ruric ascended to the throne, leading the front against the Dwarven invasion. Tensions rose between the two kingdoms, and what was once small settlement raids turned into all-out field battles. The Dwarves, initially backed by the Horde of Dunamis, the Orcs, and the Teutonic Order, quickly swept through the Norlandic countrysides, pushing the Norlanders all the way back to the Krag, where they would make their last stand. With their backs to the wall and a Dwarven battleship blockading all flow of goods in and out of the Krag, the Norlandic peoples dug in. Vastly outnumbered and out-geared, the Norlanders lay in wait, just across the ravine. Midway through the war, the Norlandic peoples mustered all the mina they had left and put their chances upon the mercenary company of Dunamis, whom the Dwarves deemed not worth the money. This decision would pay off in the long run as the Norlanders and Dunamians fended off wave after wave of Dwarven, Orcish, and Teutonic onslaughts upon the stone walls of the Krag. However, each attempt proved futile, resulting in many attackers falling to their watery graves, hundreds of meters below Javier leading the defense on the North Side of the Krag for the First and Second siege took out many men and Siege engines. Dwarven siege engines combusted upon themselves and attackers pushed on and were routed in a series of attacks. With Dwarven Coalition casualties skyrocketing, they were forced to pull back after nearly three years of siege. As a result, the waters around the Krag were nicknamed by the stalwart defenders as Bloater Bay, due to the amount of waterlogged Dwarves that lay at the bottom of the ravine.

With the siege lifted, the Kingdoms of Urguan and Norland signed a white peace, ending five years of constant warring and bloodshed.

Romstun War
Conflict lasted 1621-1625

After being crowned King of Norland, Javier was faced with the Romstun Attack

Philip the Orenian Emperor devised a plan with Deano Romstun to launch a Skirmish against the Norlandic people to constantly raid, and weaken them.. Many border skirmishes were fought between Norland and Romstun, and many times, Javier was able to lead Norlands defense and come out victorious against the Romstin Marauders, though that was not the case all of the time. Javier set up many forts along the border, in which the Romstun’s were not able to break through to the Norland countryside and eventually pulled away from the Norlandic borders, seeing as Javier commanded his men well House Romstun pulled out with neither side devolved into a Full on War. It was later that Phillip of Oren decided to cut ties with Romstun, and Launched a War against the House of Romstun, Due to Flay’s Flaying the Cousin of Phillip. Phillip launched a campaign known as the Phillips war, Norland seeing this as a chance to destroy their enemies, Norland joined the war, Sending cohorts of Calvary, To assist Oren ensuring a overwhelming victory against their bitter rivals as the battle started the Norlanders has crossed the river on the left side of the Orenians, But was faced with a brutal charge from Romstun bannermen and lost nearly half of its men and allied cavalry under their command, attempting to flee back across the river.

After regrouping, the Norlanders joined the Orenians in the main push across the center bridge which leads to a slog fest of combat.

After a few hours of fighting the last of the outnumbered Romstun’s and their orcish and Frostbeard allies either fell in fighting or ran in cowardice.

This would lead dissolution of the Romstun Principality, leading to a full annexation

The Third Coalition War
Javier attended a meeting with the Holy Orenian Emperor, and the Grand King of Urguan, talking about the issues of the realm, once Javier left he was later told that the Holy Orenian Emperor intended to make an alliance with the Grand King to destroy Norland, he then decided that he must join the Frostbeards in their conquest of Urguan, the Coalition and Urguan were fighting on each other's borders for years on end, until the Coalition finally pushed into Urguan's land. Javier led the Infantry of the Coalition in the Battle of Jornheim Fields, proving victorious, he then sent his son of Jevan Ruric, to the nearby villages to replenish the fallen soldiers, once Javier decided that there were enough men, they marched to Fort Vanir, He stationed his men in a Wooden Palisade, awaiting for the fort walls to be taken down, High King Verthaik II Frostbeard was in charge of taking down the Front gate, Javier informed Verthaik that he must take down the South East corner in order for his men to be able to march through, as he was worried Urguan set up traps, He sent his son Jevan, to command a small Regiment of Norlandic Volunteers to assist in taking out the gate, while the bulk of the Coalition forces were to await for the wall to be taken down.

Javier ordered that it was time for his men to march out to the fort as it was time to press into the fort. While all this was happening Edward, alongside a few other elite soldiers of the Coalition known as the Coalition Airforce, was bombing the Orenian and Urguan armies.

The South East side of the fort fell, Javier ordering his men to go in, only 100 men stood to defend against the whole Coalition army. The battle was won, The Coalition stationed their men outside of the Grand Kingdom of Urguans capital, the new Grand King surrendered to High King Verthaik II Frostbeard. Ending the Coalition war.

Third Crusade
After helping the Frostbeards destroy Urguan, Javier decided that it was time to get revenge for what happened years ago in Seahelm, Javier rallied his troops appearing to rally 3,500 Norlanders, all abled and ready to get their revenge, Javier called upon his allies informing them to assemble their armies and march to Vjorhelm, Once all was rallied, Javier marched to the heart of Oren, Adelburg, only to meet the Imperial army on the road infront of Adelburg, this battle would be known as the Battle of the Bloody Road taking place infront of the fields of Adelburg, Javier swiftly taking out all of the Orenian Legions.

After winning the Battle of the Bloody Road, Javier set the Coalition forces in front of the Orenian capital of Adelburg, his forces were to wait outside the city until the siege weapons were completed. One day while sitting in his tent a courier burst into his tent, claiming that Adelburg had been taken by the Kingdom of Renatus. Not wanting war with this newly formed Kingdom, Javier lifted the Siege on Adelburg. marching his men back towards Norland. The march was long and hard, a messenger entered the camp and informed Javier of Renatus's movements, and their intentions to attack. He sent his son with a small battalion of Ashguard to fend them off, hopefully, to give his men enough time to get to Vjorhelm.

the battle would be known as the Battle of Rochdale, after reaching Vjorhelm, Javier marched out with a small force to recruit soldiers from nearby villages, coming back with 2,000 men he came and saw Jevan Ruric making battle plans on how to defend the city.. Minutes later, Javier abdicated the throne to his son Jevan Ruric

Death
After his abdication to his son Jevan Ruric, Javier continued to fight alongside the Norlanders, under both Jory and Jevan's reigns, aswell as Goddens reign, although not partaking much in the fighting, he offered advice to all three kings, and counciled them throughout their reigns. It is currently unknown of Javiers whereabouts, many say that he fell during the Siege of Ruriksgrad, others say he fled with the rest of the Norlanders and died peacefully after.
