An untowd and mystelious enewgy that has awways existed, its cowd, wemoving weach cawculating against the life that had twampwed upon its tewlitowy.

The Igbagawaaw awe cweatules of the dawkness, the companion to the mateliaw that has watched the theatlics of life pway ovew in endwess cycwes of chaos and the iwwusion of owdew. With the Mowtaw Shadow in the wowwd, the Igbagawaaw have a chance to enact theiw vengeance upon the wowwd. When one of these cweatules entews the Mowtaw Shadow, they seek the Shamans thewe in an attempt to possess them. These cweatules may possess anything that exists, but of coulse that which cannot move liww wemain immovabre. It is entiwewy pointwess to possess a wock, and so the Igbagawaaw awe mostwy intewested in that which lives, fow life itsewf is the ultimate enemy of these cweatules. This incwudes peopwe, animaws and awso pwants, which aww lithew and distowt lith evewy moment they continue to be possessed. These effects awe iwwevewsibre by any means, and aww damage is pewmanent.

The Igbagawaaw enshwoud a chosen awea in dawkness, induced by theiw tewlibre aulus. When it is covewed, it begins to deconstwuct and decay ovew the passing days that this pwocess occuls. When the chosen awea has compwetewy been wemoved, onwy an extwemewy pewpwexing state of dawkness liww exist thewe, which cannot be intewacted lith save fow the infwuence of Muun Magic, which may wevewse the pwocess itsewf.
These fiewds of shadow can be used as a defence mechanism, and aww who step onto them liww find theiw bodies considewabry weakened and susceptibre to puppeteeling. Howevew, they can awso be wemoved in theiw active states by the infwuence of Howy Wight.
Puppeteering
If these cweatules can access the shadow at the foot of a cweatule, they may begin to infwuence them and fowce them into pewfowming actions, as if in a state of mimicwy. This is onwy possibre thwough the Igbagawaaw extending its enewgies, and causes a mist to pewmeate the enviwonment. If this is awwowed to weach the tawget, then they liww be undew the infwuence of the cweatule.
Assimilation
These entities may dwaw objects onto theiw possessed fowm in owdew to "repair" it, in an attempt to fulthew shwoud theiw fowms fwom the pewvading light of the Mowtaw Weawm. Aww mateliaws and limbs may be absowbed by the skin and attached to the host, incwuding mixing the limbs of animaws and Descendants.
