The House of Beauclair (Common: Beauclair; Raevir: Beauclavic; High Imperial: Beauclavii) is a human-cadet house originating from the Kingdom of Courland, a branch of the House of Staunton. Originated by Queen Charlotte Staunton of Courland following the dissolution of the kingdom in its dying form in Axios, the former monarch deemed it wise to formulate a name and house that her own descendants might bare. The members of House Beauclair have yet to hold any landed titles. Theirs arms are a sea serpent, crowned, devouring a man, the serpent's enemy. Their words are 'By land and sea'.
