Horse

The horse is a commonly domesticated animal in Anthos. Horses are large, standing at several metres tall, tend to come in shades of black, brown or grey and most commonly eat bread, wheat, apples, and sugar lumps.

Horses are generally used as beasts of burden. They can be trained to pull heavy loads. Given their ability to run far distances much quicker than most other animals they are typically used for transportation. Horse routes were established between many settlements in Asulon to allow quick transport between them. These routes often co-existed or competed with boat transport. Riding a horse is usually a simple process, although some are difficult to tame and may try and buck off any rider.
