Harvesters

The Harvesters were a few chosen descendants which were given the task to harvest souls of other descendants. They were known to use powerful harvesting tools to reap the energies from the souls of others. They were both hunted and protected by different groups throughout Vailor.

Creation

The Harvesters were chosen from men and women throughout Vailor. Those that would be more willing to follow the will of the Watcher and the Warden. Groups of three were taken to a different realm and made to fight eachother. Many times there was no survivor, and so three others had to be chosen. The victor would be awarded the powerful weapon which was also a harvesting tool. With it, they were tasked to kill other descendants and that way empower the weapon even more.

Response from the Descendants

The standard response towards the Harvesters was one equal to that which would be done to other murderers and killers. They were hunted. They did have help from a few groups. The Clerics and Druids received visions from their patrons which told them to protect the Harvesters as that the sacrifice of a few was believe the lesser of two evils. The task of the Harvesters was made so that the Defiler, which many believe to be Iblees, would be stopped once and for all. Other orders such as the paladins of Xan and the Ascended received visions to hunt the harvesters. These two different tasks for different holy orders would bring conflicting thoughts for of the order, some even doubting their own belief for their deity.
