The Cove of Freeport, known more simply as Freeport was founded in 1 SA on the shores of the Southern continent of Nyrheim by Captain Leopold de Helena and Theodore Mane. It was established to provide a safe haven for all freemen who wished to sail the sea without being shackled by any overlord or greater power. Freeport maintains itself as an independent entity holding no allegiance to anyone but its own people. This has brought much positive attention to the Cove from independent privateers, sailors, and merchants.
