Frederick Guillen was born to Melchior Guillen and Erika Falkenrath in Cyrilsburg, Curon. Through his father, he was the great grandson of Angelo de Alba and first cousin twice removed to Ser Harry Ragnarson. Through his mother Erika Falkenrath he would be the first cousin to Atreus, and first cousin once-removed to Emperor Godfrey of Renatus and Pierce I of Curon.
