Ewan Vallberg, (Born 1621), also known as Ewan af Morr, after the barony he was raised in, is the son of the Uhtred Vallberg the Merciless, and is twin brother to Lothaire af Calais. Due to his father's position of Lord Marshal of Lorraine, he spent most of his childhood groomed for command alongside his brother. It was there he was taught the mannerisms of court etiquette and noble behavior. Taking after his father, he too took up the sword. He became an extremely devout follower of the Canonist Faith, nearly leaping at the opportunity to join the forces of the Third Crusade. After the dust had settled, he had crossed paths with Reginald d'Amaury and followed him in service to the Lords of Lorraine. While Reginald was establishing the Republic of Vrakai, Ewan aided him by offering his natural charisma and leadership to the Black Reiter Company, which would become the fighting arm of the Republic.
