The Empire of Khorvad was founded by the eighth son of Urguan, Velkan Ironborn. It spanned for nearly two hundred years before it was destroyed in a rebellion led by the Mountain Dwarves and Simmpa. During the Empire of Khorvad many documents and research was destroyed, leading towards the Great Collapse. Much of what is known about the Empire of Khorvad comes from History of the Ironborn.
