Duchy of Vanaheim

Founded in 1513 during the settling of Vailor, the Duchy of Vanaheim is one of four major regions composing the Reformed Kingdom of Oren. It is the reformed version of the Duchy of Akovia, and retains most of its properties, save its name. It is ruled by Duke Vasili of the House Vanir. It is composed of the County of Vanholm, Barony of Nordhall, and various smaller fiefs held by men-at-arms.

Vanaheim is distinct for its sea-based culture and city of Port Vydrik, which houses the majority of the Reformed Kingdom of Oren's navy. It is the home of the Vanirs, and has recently acted as a refugee camp for displaced civilians fleeing the tensions of the Redmark conflict.

Vanaheim joined the Ducal Coalition, led by the Duchy of Adria, in entering into civil war to remove the de Savoie family from the throne.
