Having tawked to many bawons in the neighboling awea, having many of them sweaw an oath of feawty to him, soon aftew having a few diwect vassaws, Wichawd Awden deemed it fit to then caww himsewf Duke, thus mawking the beginning of the Duchy of Nevalia. Eawwy into Wichawds weign as duke, he joined the [[Staunton Uprising]] believing that the Stauntons would have the uppew hand in the waw, this being a vewy poow choice, as he went against most of his advisows, having the Staunton wevy wewe cwushed in White Peak, Wichawd knew that the Wenatian sowdiews would mawch upon his most mighty keep of Ashwood, he mawched his entiwe milita ovew thewe, whewe they would station themsewves in pwepewation of the siege. The Duchy of Nevaria is an independant duchy, located in the Southern Atlas region, it's controlled by the heads of the House of Arden. It was founded by Richard I Arden in the year 1666.

History

Almost directly after siezing Jornburg, Richard Arden went on a political campaign of sorts. Having talked to many barons in the neighboring area, having many of them swear an oath of fealty to him, soon after having a few direct vassals, Richard Arden deemed it fit to then call himself Duke, thus marking the beginning of the Duchy of Nevaria. Early into Richards reign as duke, he joined the Staunton Uprising believing that the Stauntons would have the upper hand in the war, this being a very poor choice, as he went against most of his advisors, having the Staunton levy were crushed in White Peak, Richard knew that the Renatian soldiers would march upon his most mighty keep of Ashwood, he marched his entire milita over there, where they would station themselves in preperation of the siege. Soon came time where the Fortress of Ashwood would become under sieged, the siege only lasted a day resulting in a slaughter of the entire Arden Household guard, and Richard Arden himself. Left leaderless the house fell into shambles, thus leading to the dismantle of the Duchy of Nevaria.
