Overview

Whether it be a group of Apostates or Templars, Maliethists have been around since the Fall of Asulon.

The Seers of Aerk'iath

A cluster of seers and apostles of Daemon of Forethought Aerk'iath that existed in Athera, originated under the mysterious guidance of a specter dubbed the Lord of Carnage and Foresight.

The Knights Templar

A nimble shadow in the Empire that moves along the roads like the wind, the Knights Templar is a supposed organization that has existed since the Fall of Asulon. Baring a crimson cross, practitioners of Malkiethism are often garbed in red and black. Founded on the principals that God is an omnipresent entity that does not think between wrong and right and judicial matters in the universe such as justice and wrongdoing, it is instead believed that is is an ever present unseen force that spans the entire collective universe.

Distinctions

As opposed to most religions followed by the Descendants, the Covenant solely believes in an ultimate Maker. an omnipotent and omniscient entity that contrary to Canonist beliefs is not a singular individual but the entire universe itself as a whole. Coinciding with this lies the belief that while fate is not predetermined it can certainly be predicted by those who acquire the right tools and the name goal of a practitioner of this religion is to free themselves of the Trinity and False Gods and instead grasp victory.

The Trinity

The three fatalities, or carnal acts. To commit sin earns punishment from your master, for only he dictates the grievousness of your sin.

  • Pain

Pain is an illusion, and to let it rule you is to give in to fear.

  • Dishonor

To not abide by one's words is atrocious and a wretched sin.

  • Gluttony

To take that which He does not give, to gorge yourself on the labor of others and hungrily eat more than your fair share.

The False Gods

Tahariae - He who gave way to sin and impurity, he wields a sword that should not be his and does as he wishes like a slothful tyrant.

Nemiisae - A goddess who long ago bedded a mortal man named Zanunder to spawn a race of wretched killers and slavers, the beast struck down her husband in his sleep and left her ilk to rot.

Xan - The lion, order. Order holds no place in a world of chaos, and we thrive on change. This god would have us set into our current ways for all of eternity.

Iblees - The Daemon who cast on us our bindings to his foul curses, never again shall we see him rise.

The Envoy

The Arch-Daemon Maliakiith, or Aerk'iath. The All-Seeing Eye of Fate that predicts every single movement. Whilst the Old Ones seek to have our world bend the knee, only he as our patron holds back the heavenly tide. The Creator's hand and speaker, he sets his gaze onto us so that we may halt their descent from above. He would see the world purged of godly hegemony and things set back into the old ways; reign by those who inhabit the Earth themselves, mortality.

The Reign of Mortality

None are better fit to rule the lands of men than mankind itself. The Old Gods and their tyrannical ways once abolished would give way to an Age of Mortality unparalleled in history. No forgotten gods of ages past, no archaic monoliths of self destructive holy energies, only us and the cosmos.

The Old Gods

Let them fall, the Old Gods and the new.

Aeriel - The Caretaker, the Soul-bender.

Kaerei - Daemoness of Torture, she is Metzli, creator of the despicable Kharajyr.
