An elf of curious lineage, storied history, and once great repute, Celiasil is known as the former leader of the Republic of Haelun'or's Sillumiran, the Favored Herald of the Arch-Drakaar Azdromoth, and later the leader and reformer of the Elvenesse Military which would come to be known as the Emerald Guard. A veteran of many battles, a father to four children, a husband and counterpart twice over, the two-time General is one more storied than most, yet ultimately faded into relative obscurity in his retirement, and later disappearance after an ill-fated deal with an entity known as the King in Yellow.

The History of Celiasil

Haelun'or

Former Okarir'tir of the late Arcasian Republic of Haelun'or, and Grand Marshall of the Elvenessi Emerald Guard decades later in Almaris, Celiasil (once Uradir) is a figure who, at his peak, served as a symbol of strength and security for each Nation whose military he came to lead and reform.

Beginning with a startling rise to power upon his initial arrival to Haelun'or, the at the time rather blunt and aggressive young Mali'thill gained the favor of then-Sohaer Nelgauth Maehr'tehral and Maelunir Muriel Uradir, valued for his direct and matter-of-fact nature. With their encouragement, he was compelled to secure his place in the city by running for the office of Okarir'tir, the leader of the Haelun'orian military known as the Sillumiran.

In a narrowly won election, Celiasil managed beat out his opponents Alluin Miravaris- then Tilruir'sil of the Sillumiran- and Storm Elibar'acal despite a lack of prior official military experience, and despite having resided in the city for but a handful of years. A newcomer now to the Council as well, the elf quickly earned a name for himself through his bold manner and diligent work. In this time, so too did he meet his first wife, Aurelia Dagre'sae, a soft-spoken woman with whom he had two children, Miralia and Perithir. Additionally, he came to discover his heritage as one of the Uradir, welcomed by Laurir Anethra Uradir, and her kin Muriel, Silvyr, and Talar'siol Uradir.

Over the following years, initially taking personal responsibility for most functions of the waning Sillumiran, the newly fledged Okarir'tir would begin building the organization back into a more functional form, ultimately restoring it in a refreshed form, with the aid of his chosen Tilruir'sil Ellisar Aevaris, and several other talented new additions. This period of the Sillumiran, under his leadership, was defined by a more merciful approach to the enforcement of Purity, with no documented executions of the impure taking place under his command, and a standard of honor and decency upheld by those who served him.

In the decades that followed, the elf would lead many successful battles for the fate of Haelun'or, largely against the otherworldly threats common to the world at that period; namely against the Inferi, and against the dark forces of a creature known as Vor'kalan. In time, the man would be regarded by his soldiers as a near religious figure, exalted and revered as an icon and symbol of his homeland.

During his time in office, the Silver State came to form a pact with the Arch-Drakaar Azdromoth, to which he initially objected, but went on to become the most diligent defender and the one largely responsible for ensuring the cohesion of the partnership, made the Arch-Drakaar's favored Herald and entrusted even with the leadership of his children the Azdrazi, a duty for which he took great pleasure, and would largely define the latter period of his command.

After leading a storied final charge against the Inferi, comprised of both Sillumiran, Heralds and Azdrazi alike, alongside many leaders of other forces of the Descendants, and becoming by several accounts the first Descendant to set foot within the Inferic stronghold, the height of Celiasil's influence and repute would be reached, later to decline as the move to Almaris brought with it peace, and left him uncertain to the future he wished to walk- for even such power and repute could, it seemed, grow stale. By this time, as well, had his wife Aurelia been missing for quite some time; thought dead.

Ultimately it was the encounter of a wood elven woman, Miven Caerme'onn, and the urging of his daughter Miralia, which made up his mind to depart both Haelun'or, and his service to Azdromoth; giving up, essentially, all that he had built and earned in favor of a quieter life amongst the more diverse populace of Elvenesse. It is said that on the announcement of his resignation, the streets of the Silver State resounded with the cries of his soldiers, bereft of the leader they had come to respect and revere; though of course, his destination and abandonment of purity had not been known to them.
