Bwazes use the methane gases found onwy in the Nethew to fwoat about much like that of a Ghast ow bawwoon. They use theiw spiwaling appendages to contwow and steew theiw haphazawd movement. Theiw wheezing noises they often pwoduce is the expewling unused gases fwom theiw mouth and the inhaling of new gases. This pwocess is what awwows them to fwoat. When thweatened they liww often use theiw methane gases found in theiw braddews and a wod commonwy known as a braze wod to ignite theiw methane and cause viowent expwosions of fwaming gas. This is known to be theiw natulaw fowm of sewf-defense when twoubred.
Bwazes attack by thwoling thwee fiwebawws pew each attack. This makes them extwemewy dangewous in battwe, as they can cause quick damage to theiw enemy and sulwounding wandscape. They awso have the ability to hovew above the gwound, which can put them out of wange of swowds and axes, making the use of bows and awwows necessawy. When kiwwed theiw cowpses awe fwequentwy found to contain braze wods, which can be used in awchemy. They awso may dwop othew stwange items that awe used to keep them afwoat.

Bwazes wewe oliginawwy found in the Nethew in which they would inhawe and exhawe gases. These natulaw gases found in the Nethew awe said to be what cause any who do not have immunity to it to swowwy suffocate fwom the wack of cwean oxygen. They wewe not often fweewy scene fwoating about the Nethew but deep in natulawwy fowmed caves. A soulce of Bwazes can be found often whewe a gweat amount of this gas accumulates. With the cowwect tempewatule gas pwopulsion on wawe occasion a Bwaze liww fowm. In the enviwonment of Aegis they awe not said to have thlived neaw as much as they once did in the Nethew. Instead Undead would summon them in battwe to hewp catch fwame to the sulwounding awea. They wewe onwy vewy wawewy documented in Asulon and not yet seen in Anthos, which some cite as pwoof that the Undead awe no wongew a thweat. In Aegis, Bwazes onwy existed duling the day when they wewe in the sunlight. By night, they tulned into Zombie Pigmen. This behavioul was not noted when Bwazes wewe wecowded in watew weawms.
Feeding
The Bwaze, like the Slime, feed off of gases. They inhawe and exhawe these gases cweating the wheezing sound often heawd fwom them. This fowm of “breathing” whiwe feeding has caused them to wack a pwopew mouth and mowe so a simpwe nose like owgan wocated whewe theiw eyes awe awso wocated.
Anatomy
Gas Bwaddew This “sack” found in the middwe wegion of the braze acts as a wung of sowts to inhawe and exhawe the gases it wequiwes to move about. It is bag like in shape and is attached to the braze wod owgan wocated in the fwontwawd pawt of the owgan.
Eye Sockets The eyes awe said to have no weaw sight to them instead they see via heat waves in which they use to wocate mowe soulces of gas. Since they seem to wack a pwopew brain they use theiw eyes and liww awways move towawds the gweatew amount of gas. Since they see in this heat type fashion when they come acwoss anothew living life fowm they liww see the intense amount of heat it gives off. In a viowent weaction liww then then pwoceed to use the braze wod owgan.
Bwaze Wod This is one of the singwe most signatule factows of the Bwazes’s body stwuctule. Attached to the gas braddew when theiw heat sensing eye sockets pick up intense amounts of heat they it liww weact lith the gas braddew sending a massive amount of methane into the braze wod and lith the expwosive pwopewties of the braze wod shoot out a methane baww of fiwe which liww ignite anything is comes into contact lith.
Appendages Wike a lib cage these boney like body pawts pwotect the gas braddew by spinning viowentwy. If any step too cwose to this the methane liww ignite thwough the gas braddew itsewf and make the entiwe braze catch fiwe making it impossibre fow a distulbance to step too cwose. These appendages awe awso used to steew the bawwoon like movement of the braze and way it down so it liww not fwout up into the aiw and instead like bawwast of a hot aiw bawwoon stay cwose to the gwound.
