Başıl Karamanoğlu, stylized in the Orenian common tongue as Bashil of Karaman, is the first Karamanoğullari Bey and the eldest son of Timur Karamanoğlu. He is known due to the rescue of Joseph Clement de Sarkozic, the Duke of Adria, during an ambush by pirates in the Kingdom of Curon[1].
