Daniel II (Common: Daniel II; High Imperial Daniel II) (2nd of the First Seed, 1434 – 31st of the Sun's Smile, 1525), born as Cordal Winter, was High Pontiff between 1518 and 1525. The oldest pontiff to ever be elected, henceforth given the moniker the Old, Daniel II also had the extraordinary position of being head of the faith twice, once as High Priest (with the clerical name Thomas I) under the state-ruled church of Peter I and later Robert I, and secondly as High Pontiff of the Canon.
