At the peak of her eleventh year Philippa was sent away from her castle in Velen to live at the newly renovated capital city of Aaun, New Vienne, under the wardship of [[Anna of Alstion|Princess Anna Alstion]]. Thus much of her early childhood was spent traveling the main Aaunic cities as a companion to the diplomatic Princess where she developed many similar mannerisms to her new close confidant.
