William Silversteed refered also to as William "The Humble" took up the mantle as Chieftian of the Silversteeds at the tender age of 16. Being raised by the De Castro family, William went on to Norland during the reign of Artyom, to restore his house to its former glory, just as it was under his father, Ethan Silversteed. William went on to make House Silversteed one of the greatest houses in Norland, trailing shortly behind the ruling family of Ruric. William, although proving to be very loyal to Norland, had a small time of conflict with the Norland people when his bannermen stole a relic of the All father during a crypt raid, tensions were at an all time high for a great time, until all issues were sorted out by Artyom himself. William continued to fight alongside Norland throughout the beginning of Javier Rurics reign, and during the Romstun War. He later dissappeared upon the return of his great grandfather upon learning of his intent of snakery. He later returned when his Grand father rebelled to quell that rebellion, building the Fortress of Jornburg as a base of operations for the Silversteed family. After the rebellion was quelled by King Jory, William returned to his travels and died peacefully, siring a son and two daughters.

Early life

William was born in Castrov, the main settlement of the family House de Castro, his father Ethan Silversteed died only a few days before William was born, upon Ethan's body, Elias De Castro found a note upon Ethan's body, claiming that he wants Elias to raise his child. So from the time he was 1 to 16, Elias trained him in the art of the sword, archery, and cavalry.

Reign

At the age of 16, William rallied the remaining Silversteed troops from all across the land of Axios claiming that they would later ride for Norland. Upon their arrival, William quickly began to mass recruit for his House, levying 3,000 soldiers. William quickly rose up in the ranks, being made a Knight, as well as getting his own land, which he would later call Silverholt. Under the Reign of Artyom I Ruric, a small spark of Silversteed rebellion, where 20 Silversteed Knights, met with 10 Ashguard soldiers, they would insult each other for an hour, until a bird was sent to Artyom by William. Artyom made his way over and solved the situation, Hannah Cooper was able to keep the sword that she had recently found in the crypts of Norland. During the reign of Javier I Ruric, William kept recruiting for his levy, rising up to become one of the largest House's in Norland, trailing behind only that of Ruric. During the Phillips war, William was getting news from Nivan Selothan, claiming that the war was lost and that Javier intended to do evil things, Nivan claimed that he could get William in contact with the House of Romstun, William pondered this for a few days, until he decided that he must fight alongside his king. Upon the return of Avalon Silversteed, William was getting information from his spies, that Avalon quickly rose to power and that Avalon intended to use it all to remove William as head of House. William abdicated to Avalon, in order to avoid his death.

Return

Upon hearing the news that Avalon had broken his oath to Jory Ruric, William wrote a notice, claiming that he will destroy Avalon and that he wishes for any Silversteeds that are loyal to him to sally with him for when the time comes, William will declare war upon Avalon. Avalon responded to this notice, by attempting to revoke the names of Silversteed from William, this did not work as he did not have the permission of the faith. William was gifted a small amount of land, he would slowly construct a small fortress by the name of Jornburg. Following Avalon's death, William would regain the title of head of the house.

Construction of Jornburg

Once settling upon Atlas and hearing of his Grandfathers betrayal to Norland. William marched with a small band of cavalry towards Norland. He was soon offered land to where he can construct a fortress where he can house the Silversteed soldiers still loyal to Norland. Once the plans and designs were laid out for Jornburg. William grew very ill eventually handing over the title as 'Lord' of House Silversteed to his eldest daughter Joana.
