Titania Hawksong is an elfess of wide renown, whose reign as High Princess of Malinor and later Grand Sariant of the Teutonic Order have had far-reaching effects. Ruling the Elven nation in early Anthos, the Princess was the penultimate leader of the doomed Old Princedom- a fact which, compounded with her affiliation with the Teutonic Order, causes her to be cloaked in no small amount of controversy. Of all her contemporaries of the time, she is among the few still living- as such, she paid witness to many events which would otherwise have been forgotten. In more recent years, Hawksong has spent time with the Order and the new Dominion of Malin both, founding the city of Linandria in 1571.

History

Malinor

Little is known of Titania Hawksong before she ascended to become Princess, though it is known that she spent a time in a small town just south of Varivik, in Asulon, and only later joined with the Princedom’s military. It was not long before she had proven herself in the High Council, becoming the leader of the nation and High Princess around the time of the voyage to Anthos.

In Anthos she helped to found the City of Leumalin and presided over the Princedom during the rise of Kaedrin and the wars of the White Rose. Despite the disastrous capitulation of Malinor, which saw it becoming a subsidiary of Kaedrin known as the Holy Princedom, the Princess remained popular among the people. After the recession of Kaedrin’s power and the resurgence of Dwarven military might in mid-late Anthos, she caused the city to be renamed Luminaire.

It was during this time that the Princedom began to falter, its population beginning to shrink- first due to the attacks and political pressure of the White Rose, and later due to the rise of the Black Scourge from the northrealm, which destroyed Luminaire and caused the Princess to shift the Princedom to a new capital (and refugee camp) New Malinor. The faith of the populace receding and the Princedom declining in power, the High Princess stepped down and nominated Eleron Sylvaeri to serve in her stead.

Later Years

After the Fall of the Princedom, Hawksong drifted in and out of the public eye, serving intermittently as Elven leader and Sariant for the Teutons. She helped to design and found the city of Linandria.

Family

Titania was married to Prince Emberhard during her reign as High Princess, a joining which resulted in a son, Elrolas Hawksong. In later life the Princess was oft seen in the company of Ac’aelu Tinuvial, a Prince of the new Dominion of Malin, and eventually married him as they ruled Norseth'onn together.

Titania was also a cousin to Azoth Hawksong, former Ascended and Lord Treasurer of the Dominion of Malin.

Personality

During her reign as High Princess, Titania was known to be a firm but fair leader. In later years, serving the Teutons as Grand Sariant, she became somewhat colder to her enemies, but retained her amiable manner.
